i had configured a call relay with a Cisco call manager, the CR is registered with a gatekeeper and i can do calls but the problem is without audio, i use the G729 codec in the call relay and call manager, and the gatekeeper, and there is no firewall in this architecture:
cisco callmanager–>CR–>GK
If the call connects, but there is no audio, this would typically point to some where along the way the port(s) are being blocked. Have you tried going call manager direct to GK? Or another gateway through call relay?
