CRTP over Ethernet

    Dear all,
    I am Vadan from INdia, working for a service provider.We are designign an IP network and our vendor has given some details about call module design.
    He has not calculated CRTP with Ethernet while He calculated CRTP with PPP over TDM E1 ?
    Can someone clarify relation betwee CRTP and Ethernet ? IS CRTP does not implemented wtih Ethernet ?

    the CRTP compression is not supported over ethernet

    Hi

    CRTP is implemented over point-to-point layer 2 medias ( like PPP) and this header compression must be done after routing decision and interface selection. As you know ,ethernet is not point-to-point technology ,so CRTP is not implemented with ethernet
