Hi,
I am using an AXM series Quintum with 8 ports conneted to tellulars.
When i make H323 calls to the kit they connect well through the tellulars, but i dont get the connect signal(Media gateway IP outgoing column is blank even after the call is connected)and the calls cannot be billed.
I am set to CASSG-2 (Loop start reverse battery). Can some one advice please, this is urgent.
Thanks,
Venky.

Make sure answer supervision is on. If it is, try setting AnswerSupervisionDelayAnswer : 1-Matt

Thanks for the reply, i could not find the Answer supervision option in the cassig configuration parameters. I have set AnswerSupervisionDelayAnswer to 1, but the problem still exits.
thanks
Venky.

or something higher. I don’t know for sure if it will fix your problem but it is worth a shot.10th April 2006 at 16:48 #30914VenkyGuestHi,
the problem seems to extint after changing the Cassg to only Loop start from loop start reverse battery and changeing then changing the AnswerSupervisionDelayAnswer : 1,
but after exactly 49 seconds if the call is still in alerting mode the qunitum suddenly shows the call as connected with dead air.Any advice to come around this please.
Thanks,
Venky.

I suggest that you review the document on Quintum’s web site that discusses Answer Supervision. You can find it under the support area and search for answer supervision.
As for this problem, yes, voice detection answer supervision only works for loop start, not reverse baterry. Check to make sure your answer delay is set to at least 120 again after making the changes.
