1. My land line was inoperable for three weeks while the technicians BS’d about technical issues.
2. While my POTS made ALL the phone jacks in my house available for use, I can only use ONE phone jack with my VOIP setup.
2A. I have to buy new phones ($150.00-$200.00 for base stations, $70.00 for expansion phones).
Where’s the improvement??
Obviously you are not very experienced in VoIP or even telecom as it is very easy to connect the VoIP to all the jacks in your house and normally you would not need to purchase any new phones. Don’t know what service you are using, but it sounds like you got taken.
