I bought the billing for a T1 system, but the billing crash every time that there is high volume of calls.
The support is a disaster, with people that barely speak english, and they want to do everything via MSM.
They will keep you on IM for hours, only to find out that the guy that was handling your trouble is gone for the day.
Save yourself the headache. But something that have a real support group.
1. AVB’s RADIUS control huge amounts of SQL opearation and a thread check a valid license for RADIUS,if a third party RADIUS is allowed, AVB would be much stable.
2. A real-time java thread does billing.seems every few minutes using lots of SQL opeartion, which kill a lot of resource and time.
3. Besides AVB’s float calculation seems not accurate enough.
I once tried to run it in FreeBSD 5.4 and Fedora Linux, but it was hard to setup MYSQL.Using Windows and SQL server is easy.I would recommend dual PIII 933MHz CPUs for billing and SQL server in one host.
