There are 2 possible reasons without me actually seeing the log that I can think of.
1. You are using the epad area to allow/bar Ip addresses and you have not put the other unit’s IP address in the allow, or you have not put its own Ip address in the allow.
2. You did not create a sroute to the destination end or you did not configure the number to match on for routing correctly.
Usually the heartbeat error is a ethernet error that does not cause problems. This is when the Quintum sends out a “heartbeat” message on the ethernet and is expecting the router/hub to reply. If it does not get a reply, you may get this message. It usually does not cause any problems with normal functions.
