Microsoft gave up GIPS?

    In July, Global IP Sound announced an OEM deal with Microsoft. GIPS claimed that its software will be used in MS products. As a matter of fact, it didn’t happen – MSN IM 7.5 has no GIPS inside: http://messenger.msn.com/Help/Terms.aspx.
    And they say Microsoft is not going to use GIPS anymore. I wonder if that’s true. Anyone knows?

    I have checked both sides and found it funny. Hmmmmm… indeed.. Those at GIPS keep announcement hooked up onsite AS IF it were in value and MSN still among other customer applications. I wonder if Bill does care.
