sorry for asking the question not related to this forum. but I need to know.
Why Military wireless systems are HALF DUPLEX if technology has been reached where you can make it full duplex?
Well.
It is because they BROADCAST their voice to ‘N’ (more than 200) number of Channels(Listeners). When you need to broadcast your channel in 1 to multiple ratio then it is a good idea to make it in half duplex mode. Otherwise you’ll be listening to the channels you dont need to. In this case, full duplex would make all the channels noisy.
