Dear all,
We are trying to make PBX Ip Extension over IP network with Tenor AX2400 equipment.
We are using a PBX Alcatel Office 4200 E and we followed the Quintum technical document “IP Port Mapping Feature”.
One Remote Phone is connected to the FXS port of the first AX2400. Alcatel PBX is connected to the FXO port of the second AX2400.
When a remote user picks up their phone, a connection is immediatly made over IP to the corresponding port/extension on the host PBX and the remote user is able to dial as if he is directly connected to that PBX. For that, all is working fine.
However, when a host PBX user calls to a remote by dialing his extension, the Tenor doesn’t pass the call over IP to the correct phone. After checking and checking again, it seems that the FXO port of the host AX2400 directly connected to the PBX is not able to identify the picking up of the PBX.
We tried to make an another test with a FXO line of the PBX directly connected to the FXS port of the Tenor AX2400 and saw that in this configuration, the A400 is able to identify the picking up and is able to route the call over IP.
Can you assist us for this issue?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
