    Dear All,
    I got problem when I’m trying to get into my Tenor AX.

    System Software P103-08-00 Oct 21 2005, 13:03:40

    Can anybody help me where to get the TCM ?

    Because I see it on the quintum.com it only provide Tenor Configuration Manager CM103-07-02.

    My Current Client Version is : TENOR_CLIENT_P102.11.00
    My System OS : Windows XP

    Rox,

    the version number for the TCM does not, and will not, be the same as the version number for the tenor software. The latest version of TCM on the web should work fine with the software version you have. You should always check any release notes.

    Hi.
    I have a problem when I connect to TenorCMS(1G) by Tenor Configuration Manager.

    When push “Connect”, following messages are displayed
    in console of TenorCMS:

    0x2e37330 (webServer): Quintum DSI 0x300 exception: PC 0x0034e8d8 DAR 0x30342e31 DSISR 0x40000000

    [TenorCMS]
    Database Version: DB_CMS_M04_A008_V1.3.14_100402
    Tenor CMS System Controller: v1.5.36

    Hi All,
    Can anyone help me out in enabling Configuration Manager for Quintum Box, i can able to telnet but when i try using Conf. Mgr. it throw an error “Premature EOF Encountered (Please Check the IP Address)
    I use Win XP…….thanks in advance

    Abedin,

    It is always helpful to include the model type of quintum that you are using.

    My first answer to you would be are you using a Gen 1 (A400/A800/D) or a Gen 2 (AS/AX/DX) unit.
    Config manager will not work on any gen 1 unit, only on gen 2.

    Also, you have to make sure that you have the correct version of config manager to match the software version running on the Quintum.

    whether you are connected via LAN or console port, as long as you can access the unit you can reset as follows;
    1. connect to unit and enter username and password.
    2. type “main mc”
    3. type “reset”
    4. type “yes”

    This will make the unit perform a standard reset. If you want to set the unit to factory default, then;

    1. connect to the unit and enter username and password.
    2. type “conf mc”
    3. type “setfactory”
    4. type “yes”
    5. follow directions 2 – 4 above to reset the unit.
