Hi,
I m facing problem with A800 since last few days. My GWs are getting stucked after some time – wheather there was calls or not. Strange to me that It is not happening only in same network…. in diff network’s GW has also same problem. All those GWs r in Bangladesh. Plz help me if anyone knows anything.Regards

What do you mean by “stuck”? Are the analog pstn ports getting hung (not hanging up)? If so, then this is probably due to an incorrect configuration for disconnect supervision.
If the entire unit is getting locked up, then there could be some other issue at hand.

Its not port issue or any other isue in disconnect supervision config. Config are ok. Also I’ve changed Fireware to latest one qt-sy-p4-2-20-40qt-lec. Suddenly GW is going to offline and then we can’t PING it or cann’t telnet GW. But If reset the GW, its works again fine for some times. Then happen same thing again.Plz advice.
Thanks

17th May 2005 at 20:32 #29478MikeMGuestWhen this happens, can you connect a PC directly to the Tenor through the console port and see if you can access it? If so, then also try issuing the ping command from the Tenor (at Quintum> prompt) out to a public IP and see if this puts the Tenor back on the network.
