erlang formula

    hi
    i don’t know exactly which erlang formula can i use to dimension a VoIP network B or C). i know that the voice will be transmitted over an IP backbone, and the IP netwok is based on queing system so we can used the Erlang C formula.

    If you queue voice packets your speech quality will be very bad.

    Voice packets MUST be given the highest priority, along with any signalling packets associated with the voice (ie telephone controll signals)

    If you cant give these priority you should reconsider attempting to use VoIP.

    Use Erlang B.
