Clarent Gw for softphone

    Does anyone here already setup a clarent to be used as a gateway for softphone. (pc to phone application using clarent as Gateway). Can you direct me to the site or documentation regarding this type of setup.

    Clarent is not a native h323 unit.

    You need a gatekeeper unit to go from Clarent to normal h323, kind of a early softswitch, only for the signaling.
    It si just a beefy PC, running the gatekeeper aplication from Clarent.

    I doubt that you will found much information online

    I hv experient do test call using Netmeeting throught Clarent Gateway as H323 Gateway, some little change on registry and make that Clarent Gateway Standalone without Command Center but not perfectly just one way from SoftPhone to Gateway ,other way can not 🙂
