Recently I purchased one Quintum A200 and trying to configure just as a NAT router. My ISP uses PPPoE. I have configured everything. Now it is working fine, but WAN ip changes every after 2 min automatically. How to stop that one ? Otherwise I will not be able to configure VoIP, to work with my softswitch. If you have any suggestion, pls. let me know.
Does it change I.P. ‘s or get a reboot???
I have seen the A200 rebooting for no reason when you access some sites on the internet ,using is a NAT router. Nothing to do with VOIP, the router part just chock to death and the thing reboots in few seconds.Try not to use the router, just use it as a voip handset.
I know, it sucks, the other option is the papaer weight .
Get a QTelNet FXS-1401, you can use a dynamic IP on their equipment as they track the changing IP addresses.
