    hello guys,

    Just want to know what is the allowed latency in order to have an excellent voice in a VOIP conversation for:

    1. direct ata186 to another ata186
    2. ata186 to a pstn/cellfone line passing thru a gateway/carrier
    3. how can i accurately test the latency for #1 and #2
    4. what is ASR %
    5. what is PDD

    Hello,
    Under 500ms ping to the carrier with enough bandwidth will get you a good conversation.
