    I have a question. I am new to Voip, very new and from my call relay box I run G 723.1,however I was given an option on a web page of picking G723.1 (acelp) 5.3 kbps or G723.1 (np-mcq) 6.4 kbps. Can anyone tell me the difference. Also it stated 6.4 kbps and my information given to me is 6.3 kbps. What is the correct kbps? The product is Quintum.

    There are 2 standarts for G723.1:

    * G723.1 at 5.3Kbps
    * G723.1 at 6.3Kbps

    Difference is very simple – better quality with the 6.3Kbps version 🙂
