    Hi. Can anyone please explain me why many of the telephony applications are coded using VB, and why not JTAPI. I would like to know the advantages and disadvantages of JTAPI for Telephony. Thanks in advance.

    Get a live here. Tapi& Jtapi are all middleware. They are the interface between applications, notting more.

    VB is the actual database of the application.

    Thanks Morgan. But, I really can imagine VB as a database. Does VB really serve as a database?

    Well VB is the software you use to wright the application, so thats including the database.
    If its a open application they would probably use a DB related database or SQL. But if its propriorty they will include it in de application.
