IP Telephony over Internet via ADSL

    Hi

    Can anyone advise what terminology (letters, numbers etc)I should be looking for in specifying routers to set up a VPN over the Internet between two sites with ADSL (UK) with fixed IP addresses, capable of supporting G729 (?) IP telephones with “voice packet prioritisation” (?).

    There seem to be a number of ADSL routers which support VPN, but I’m not sure they’ll support the VOIP from the IP telephones that I need to use, nor prioritise its traffic over the PCs using the VPN or Internet.

    Any constructive suggestions greatfully received…

    I am currently looking into VoIP enterprise solutions in the UK. I can have a think about this if you send more info (such as the type of VoIP phones you are using etc) then I may be able to help
