I work for a large global enterprise that has spent considerbale time researching the pros and cons of moving to an IP Telephony environment. Several key concerns arose which cast doubt on whether the time was right to make such a move.
I have recently started to look into IP Centrex and so far it seems to offer some compelling advantages over traditional VoIP systems, and appears to be an attractive offer for a managed services approach.
Has anyone installed or applied an IP Centrex solution to their enterprise, or considered it, comments, stories, advice?
If you are talking abouth AGCS’ IP Centrex box called iMerge, I know all about it. It is very good but is very new. It is getting a lot of testing in the RBOCs. They love it.
