    I try to make bandwidth calculation based on cisco whitepapers. but i still dont know how to get some variable, like multiplier 3 becomes 0.125 with crtp ? can somebody help me ?

    Hi,

    I found this message posted by u on May 4, 01.
    So I hope by now you must have got the answers.

    I just started work on an IC implementation of VoIP and am trying to consolidate,
    the different numbers involved, for getting the bandwidth.

    Can you help me out in finding the cRTP standard, and how the compression is done?
    I have gone through the CISCO whitepapers, but they are not that clear on this issue.

    What is it that u are working on now?

    RTP header compression is covered by RFC 2508, which you can read at http://andrew2.andrew.cmu.edu/rfc/rfc2508.html.
