New to VoIP

    I am new to VoIP but I have been using routers for about a year and I have got a CCNA.

    Could anyone point me to a good URL or books that offer practical on the job examples as I have been asked to build a VoIP test bed by my boss and do not know where to start.

    You can look for CCNP Voice Specialiazation books from Cisco Press or surf http://www.cisco.com, they have plenty of resources in this issue.

    Dear Fem Osiyemi,

    You can try at huge number of web sites available for VoIP. Big companies like http://www.lucent.com (an R&D) of AT&T Labs.

    http://www.ietf.com etc are more knowledgable.

    Gain more information on the ideas related to VoIP and discuss with people in the field.

    I have few informations with me related to VoIP in bandwidth allocation, call addmission, delay etc.
