What first?

Does anyone have any thoughts on where we will see VoIP appearing first? I know that vendors are pushing products into the enterprise market, but are there softswitches scalable to carrier markets?

It seems to me that carriers could use this technology for their inter-switch facilities. Maybe they already are! If they’re not actually selling voice over IP as a product, then their customers would never know.
