mobile latched to 2 networks

    hi all

    i faced one issue that i wanted to discuss with you:

    (mobile is on border area)
    mobile is roaming and has done GSM and GPRS UL to NW1

    after this mobile has done GSM UL on his HPLMN (we can see cancel location done)

    but we didn’t see any GPRS CAncel location or new GPRS UL.

    is it possible to mobile to connect on HPLMN on CS and to another PLMN on PS ?

    what’s the mechanisme in such case ? if mobile is connected GSM to a NW then it has to connect to the same NW on GPRS ?

    if GSM UL is OK for a NW , then mobile has to latch on PS to the same NW and it has to do a GPRS UL also ?

    please advise.

    Better to check what Roaming settings are set on the HLR/HSS. Parameters like VPLMN Allowed, should be reviewed. For cross border cases like what you have described check if you can send data, e.g. MMS, Web surfing, etc..

    Check if you are using a GRX. Most CSPs have moved on from the dedicated point to point roaming link.
