    Dear Alex,
    CB messages are not displayed even locally in BSC means when we want to display some message on a cell by creating it in BSC itself.This is an outstanding issue for us for BSC2i.what may be the problem

    How to identify(read correctly) the SW version from the used SW build in Nokia MSS or HLR, after using ZWQO:CR; ???

    Hi, after using ZWQO:CR; from MSS you’ll get information about Running Software Build, it is identified as BU .

    Here is the Identification of SW build states :

    BU = BACKUP (Active SW Build)
    NW = New
    FB = Fall Back
    ….

    from the BU SW Build you get the PACKAGE-ID to identify SW version.

    Hi Mouley,
    I know that.
    I ment, how to identify from the package id, what sw release is installed: m12, m13, m13.6, m14 etc.?

    is there a short description, how to define this from the loaded package id?

    Hi,

    sorry for misunderstanding.

    So you may have to check the Prefix of your package ID.

    Example:

    Package ID = ME x.y-z
    or
    Package ID = MD x.y-z

    ME = M14 (E in hex = 14 in dec)
    MD = M13 (D in hex = 13 in dec)

    Need help with a BSC2i DX200

    4 issues and would really like any help that you can give.

    1)I need the wiring diagram for converting the LAN POST(RJ45) to D-SUB(9PIN) , The card LAN post( RJ45) is the CPU’s card of the OMU

    2)-The VDC could not login with OMU, So they could not know about the status of the BSC

    3)-Repeat lights of the HWAT card in the OMU show a red light

    4)-The three cards of AS7 in the OMU are constant light
