The UDCD is sent from HLR to the EIR.The question is what is the information came to HLR in order to send this MAP message?

V3 Ericsson Update Device Configuration Data

Apologise for the very late response.
This is specific to Ericsson ADC solution. At the time this was a proprietary MAP message that was used with a Device Configuration solution using a trigger that was known as ADD – Automatic Device Detection.
This was a Networked solution that required features on the Core Network (MSC/HLR) to be activated.
