RRC establishment fails

    hi,

    the utran rej in ericsson is a large counter that must be used in a formula. i’ll write it tomorrow on this forum.

    there it is…

    It can be used to find out how many RRC FAILED AFTER ADMISSION :

    pmTotNoUtranRejRrcConnReq – pmNoRejRrcConnMpLoadC – pmNoRrcReqDeniedAdm + pmNoLoadSharingRrcConn – pmNoRejRrcConnRrcLc

    And also how many RRC FAILED due to RADIO TIMEOUT

    pmTotNoRrcConnectReq – pmTotNoRrcConnectReqSuccess – pmTotNoUtranRejRrcConnReq

    But yeah, basically, it’s a big counter that includes many kind of fails.

    Major RRC Failure from Radio & Uu interface , just power reset happend , RRC failure count reduced.

    HI I am getting RRC failure and mojor reason is pmNoLoadSharingRrcConn, what can I check to avoid this, congestion counters showing 0 most of the time in problem cells

    Hello,

    the pmNoLoadSharingRrcConn is NOT an issue. It is a natural consequence of Load Sharing. The RRC is sent to a less loaded colocated cell (of another band)

    Definition ==

    Number of Load Sharing diversions when establishing an RRC connection

    Condition: Incremented by one when a RRC message RRC CONNECTION REJECT is sent to a UE because another cell (frequency) is selected by Load Sharing.
