Can MS drop the PTR message

    Hi Pix,

    If the resources allocated to MS for uplink TBF is not changed and a Packet timeslot Reconfiguration message is sent while the DL TBF is getting established on the Pacch of the Uplink TBF then the MS drop the PTR message as the resources for the uplink is not changed. Is it true?

    hi,

    Why do you say it is dropped ? The MS will decode the PTR and apply the new configuration.

    (maybe the UL is not changed, or maybe it is changed, to better accomodate the DL TBF. The only way to know is to look inside the message and see what is the new configuration required by the BSS)
