MCS Coding relation with no of users

    Hi Experts,
    Does number of users affect MCS coding allocation. For example: if 2+2 is confguration(Static+ Dynamic)& 6 numbers of users are active edge user then will they get MCS9 coding or less

    They will get MCS-9 coding only but the speed will be divided among all 6 users as all 4 the pd channels will be shared by them.

    Hi rferic,

    MCS coding allocation is mainly depend on “link adaptation” technique.

    If 5-6 users are getting good quality RF signals and getting MCS -9 coding scheme then bandwidth(general term Speed) will share for all.
