Increase in Location Update

    Hi,

    We have got increase in location update by 120% suddenly in PLMN. Also affetced cell level Sd Congestion.

    Cross checked RF parameters and found no changes or discrepencies.

    Pls suggest me.

    hi,

    few questions:
    * are all cells impacted evenly or only few of them ?
    * are all BSC impacted evenly ?
    * at what time during the day do you see an increase ?
    * since what time did you see the increase ?
    * from MSC counters, do you know if those LU requests are coming from IMSI from your own PLMN, or from visitors ?

    Good point pix on the visitors. We have a market that is a resort area that we see large increases during ski season.
