SDCCH Blocking rate

    Hi Guys

    I have a site that is on
    – total GSM Capacity= 40
    – GSM Traffic = 12.8 erlang
    – SDCCH Channel MAx = 120 , and Static SDCCH of 56 erlang. the site is having a high SDCCH Blocking rate and the SDCCH Max busy channels is 71.. what could be causing the cell to not convert to its maximum SDCCH of 120

    Dear,

    What do you mean by Total GSM capacity?

    second you say you have traffic on SDCCH of 56 Erlang? Right?

    How many TRX’s are defined and how many static SDCCH channels are defined in the cell?
