Hi,
it could be because of Abis problems if 2Mb links are Microwave. If you are ALU then check if drops are due to remoteTC. Microwave links can cause problems in heavy rain conditions.
Regards,
Rex
yes, rain causes more loss on the radio path:
-on air interface, cell coverage is reduced (max -3dB, in very heavy rain)
– on abis, if microwaves are used, links are lost intermittently
also,
* water in the antenna feeders/connectors -> it reduces the coverage even more
* a statistical effect : more calls are made indoor or in-car, less calls are made outdoor -> rxlev is lower -> call drops occur more frequently.
Hi,
In one of our circles,3G voice traffic is very less but due to lower Denom, % value is high. call drops are on random cells and generally not more than 10 on concerned cells.
kindly suggest some ways to improve such cases or any parameter settings for DCR improvement.
vendor is NSN.
