hi Data expert,
is there any way to know number of EGPRS user per cell
Ericsson vendor
pixGuest
hi,
it depends what you mean by “number of users” : number of active users, or number of users in standby ?
if active users, then, you just need to see how many simultaneous TBF were allocated in one cell, at most, in only one direction (ie. in DL).
if number of standby users, then, no. Users in standby mode are not visible by the system at the cell level.

hi Pix,
1. in ericsson there is a counter called
ACTEUSE which is The accumulated number of active users with EGPRS capable mobiles. DTM is not included ,,, unit is user
i check for one cell and the value i get is 164440! i dont think that those amount of user are there for that cells.
2. is there is any relation between sharing factor ad number of user?
3. how to calculate PDCH congestion in the cell!

Hi Mr GPRS,
Divide ACTEUSE by the counter ACTEUSESCAN and then post the results.
