DL TBF blocking drop? Alcatel

    Hello,
    I have the following situation:
    high blocking drop/low establishment on a cell.
    Please smb explain what exactly is blocking drop in normal words (Alcatel explanation is confusing for me)

    are you referring to a GPRS indicator? what is the full name of this indicator please ?

    Yes, it is a GPRS indicator. Sorry for not clearing that.

    Hi,

    Actually, it was written in the title, but I didn’t notice it before… sorry.

    Blocking drop refers to the MS or the MFS being in a frozen state. For example, the MFS is always sending the same DL RLC blocks, even if it was already ack by the MS, or the MS is always ACK the same DL RLC blocks, even though the MFS has sent new blocks.

    In simpler words : the MS or the MFS are having some minor s/w issues, so they need to establish a new TBF (that will reset the connection)
