    Please can someone explain what Optimal Routing in a GSM network?

    OR enables the routing of incoming calls directly to the mobile subscriber, i.e. to his/her current location even in a foreign network (VPLMN), instead of taking the long route via the home network (HPLMN). Only signaling is exchanged between VPLMN and HPLMN
