SDCCH congest rate 100%-ALU

    Dear all,

    I met an abnormal SDCCH cong rate statistic in some cells. It happened at 2 cells in 1 site (it has 3 cells sector). I did reset the TCU(TRE-RSL) where SDDCH is applied. But it had no effect at all. I delivered this problem to ALU expert, they said it’s because a problem in Abis and electrical shutdown (unstable power).

    Is there anyone know how to solve this issue?

    hi,

    if alu experts are correct, then it means the cell is shutting down the TRX’s during electrical failures. In this case, only the BCCH is up. Try relocating one of the SDCCH ts to the BCCH TRX…

    Could you share with us:
    SDCCH Erlang
    SDCCH Traffic duration avg
    SDCCH Capacity
    Traffic Split (SDCCH Usage = MC02x counters) LU, IMSI DETACH, MOC, MTC, SMS, etc.
    All these indicators per hour for one day, please.
