    hi,

    What is the time period of frequency changing in BBH between TRXs?

    Is it possible to see the transmitting TRX during DT in BBH?

    sorry, I mean call changing not frequency.

    hi george,

    in alu system, for bbh, it is the frequency which is changing, not the call.

    the time period = the TDMA frame (4.615ms)

    durng drive test, the MAIO is related to the TRX : each TRX gets a unique MAIO so you can relate one with the other.

    Hi Pix,

    But during DT I see only MAIO of BCCH TRX.

    Does TDMA frame (for change) belong to only ALU?

    System is Huawei

    ho yes, maio would work with sfh only.

    but if you are a MS in BBH, in huwaei, it means that every TDMA frame, the MS is changing TRX !
    Each TRX transmits a static frequency.
    So look at which frequency you are using for that TDMA frame, and you will know the TRX.

    The TDMA periodicity is standard (for every vendor)

    I doubt that you can see the frequency of each burst in your drive test. It is impossible !!
    There is a change every 4.615ms. What you see in the DT is a snapshot every 480ms… During 480ms, there are 110 changes of frequency.
