Backhaul capacity for CDMA

    GUYs,

    We are planning a CDMA network and one question bothers me. Let’s say system supports 10 simultaneous calls.So, how much Backhaul capacity do we need on A-bis to support these 10 calls? On the GSM side, its pretty simple to come up with these numbers but what’s the way on CDMA? Is there a formula for this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Dear Sammy

    Each voice user required max 9.6 Kbps. So 10 user required Max 96 Kbps backhaul Capacity.
