Inter vendor compatibility (ALU-other)

    Hi,
    I’m interested to know if Alcatel-Lucent Radio (BSS) is compatible with Core Network of other vendors (Nokia, Ericsson, etc.) In other words, is it possible Alcatel’s RCP, let’s say, A1421 Radio Control Point and SSP 1000 E10 to migrate to any other vendor core solution and still be compatible with ALU radio part (BSS).
    Any answer would be appreciated.

    Hi Rex,

    BSS and NSS are totally independant, because the A interface is fully standardized. –> ALU BSS works with any brand of NSS.
