Hi, all.
Sometimes it’s possible to get very high SDCCH drop ( up to 90% ) due to faulty mobile uncapable to complete periodical location update…

Hi, Pix.
I know for 2 times Siemens 25C and one Ericsson 28T.
Very archaic mobiles.
Usualy we fight with gateways ( especially illegals ).

do you have any idea with SD drops in A interface?? SDDROPS_AiF

We have a problem with HIGH SDCCH drops on our network. It was usually 1.14%, but now it is around 2%. What should the SDCCH drops be ideally?
Pix Guest
Hello Patrick,
Ideally… 0%…
Typically, in urban area, a target KPI around 1% should be achieved.
Basically, your SDCCH should be a little less than your TCH drop rate.

I think SD drop on A interface is not calculated in the SD Drop formula.

HI JB
If SD Drop A inf is not calculated in SDR formula, how could you discover this fault when you get KPI report?
