Difference in data download at Cell & Gn

    Hi All,

    I am getting difference (Delta) in data download at Cell Level – Bytes of LLC Frame Downlink data TBF including GPRS & EGPRS (cumulative of all cells in the network) and at GGSN level (Bytes of GTPv1 data packets received from Gn/Gp(byte)). This difference is about 30GB. The difference is about 40GB.

    Please help me to know the possible reason for it.

    hi,

    there is all the GMM traffic that is not going through the GGSN because it is generated by the SGSN (GPRS ATTACH, AUTHENTICATION, PAGING, etc)

    what are the amounts of cell LLC traffic and of GGSN GTPv1 traffic ?

    Hi Pix,

    Thanks for your reply.
    Delta issue was resolved after changing the counter. LLC data counter was not incrementing whenever TBF releases abnormally. Now we have changed the counter and there is no mismatch now.
