Handover to Utran command

    Hi guys, when i analyze A interface messages (ALU B10) i saw some SCCP MTP-2 messages (CR: handover to utran commands) errors from MSC to BSC, is this normal behaviour?? we are in 2G network with nokia R4 Core side.

    Hi,

    Basically your 3G networks is rejecting the handovers coming from 2G ? Is it happening all the time ?

    If it’s all the time : it is probably a misconf.

    If it’s only during certain time, then yo might have activated a congestion-defense feature on the 3G side : if 3G is too loaded, then incoming 2G Ho are rejected.

    The Integrity key and algo should be present in modified SRNC container in handover request from 2G or not.
