    Why the value of ARLT is more than RLT in the network

    Hi,

    Because the RLT counts the bad Sacch frames.

    The AMR codec can give you good voice quality no matter the bad Sacch frames.

    So in this case you can release the line quicker than it’s necessary. ( in fact we need good voice not good number of Sacch frames ).
