poor downlink quality IBS

    what could be the root cause of poor downlink quality in IBS aside from harware faults?

    If it is a repeater may be because of improper gain setting in the D/L Also there is a chances of poor isolation b/w UL and DL.

    thanks guru. its not a repeater. its a nokia ultrasite. what parameter should i modify?

    If All the of UltaSite HW is fine then DL quality can be improved by decreasing TA ( Timming advance).

    coverage good be the problem. try to check if all antenna are radiating properly…

    Have a walk test conducted and check if there is some level / quality issue with the site on any location and try to isolate the transmitting antenna. then based on the location where the issue is weather ping pong HOs taking place.
    First isolate the issue if the walk test in terms of level or not then based on the issue / location / nearby antenna the solution may vary.
