TN timeslot number in ericsson

    Hi,

    in ericsson, is it mandatory to define sdcch channels timeslot number with parameter TN or it can be also automatically assigned if yes what is the parameter

    Bibbo,

    I’ts not mandatory to define the SDCCH timeslot number (TN). If you don’t specify the TN, then the SDCCH is placed on timeslot 2 by default. However, you can place it on a specific timeslot by using the command:
    RLCCC:CELL=cell, SDCCH=sdcch, TN=tn; The parameter is TN, and, as you would expect, it ranges from 0 to 7;

    Hi thanks for reply Sheldon

    1 more question, for example channel group1 (non-bcch) has no sd defined and there are TN values (like 1,2,3) in this case is there any use of TN?

    Hi Bibbo,

    If you have no SDCCHs defined in the channel group, then the TN values are useless.
