I A and B are in different MSC, and there is a call drop because of some problem in A network.

1)Will this be a normal call B
2)or will it be a call drop both in A and B.
2)What messages will the BSC get in this case.

1PCM–>2048Kbps(32 Channels)
1–Framer,1 Signalling.
So remaining 30 channels –30*64k=1920Kbps

Abis Signalling needs 64k;
Speech (4x16k TCH are multiplexed in 1x64k): means in 1xTRX—->128k
So 12 TRX—>12*128= 1536K

So 1PCM is more than Enough for your 12 TRX config

* Lapd signalling you have.
* Confact parameter.

to mr madhu,

Yr question is not BTS part, it is transmission part. Here i give y a basic idea about this.

There are various capacity configuration of transmission like..

e1,e2,e4 etc. are 1e1=2m, 2e1=4m etc. are are not synchronization, i.e PDH. also for pdh equipment are different.

on the otherhand in SDH (synchronization digital hierarkey) are stm1=155m,stm4=622m,stm16,stm64=10g etc. also sdh equipment are different.
