Slips on media

    Hi All,

    I am having getting some issue with slips coming on MTL links and ET ports of various BSC’s in our network in random manner. I have monitored the transmission media having slips problem and found no issue.

    Can anybody tell me some troubleshooting points. Is this problem has anything to do with network clock problem?

    Which type of slips,+ve or -ve?
    Incoming or outgoing?

    Have you checked for AIS,SES,outages,when these slips come?
    What is the DAC value of the corressponding BTS at the time of slips?

    Check ZDRI; for BSC clock word value.
