    Hi,

    Is there any timer involved in normal RA procedure?
    if yes then what is the default value for the same.

    t3312 is the timer for periodic update.
    default value: 54mn

    there is no timer associated to “normal” update: the trigger is an event (change of RA)

    Hi,
    I have a question.
    if UE has set the “of SM State Inactive Flags [8 bits] =xx” (with some value for example 0x20 for NSAPI=5) as per section “10.5.148/3GPP TS 24.008”

    is it mandatory to replay the same value in RAU Accept message. i could not find the spec 3gpp reference to replay the same in RAU accept message. could anybody show some light on this.
