Zero Traffic – Huawei

    Hi Engineers,
    I have three sites each has six cells
    (Dual Band GSM900+DCS1800), in all sites cells 1,2,3,5 and 6 carry traffic but cell 4 no traffic (zero traffic). All the parameters are OK.
    The CGI is the same at NSS and BSS level.
    What could be the reason?
    Please assist.

    Dear colleagues,
    I too experience this problem in my network. Zero traffic in urban cells.
    Share your ideas.

    -traffic could be very low
    -trx problem
    -soft problem (in case of upgrading)

    Try to lock the others cell wich take traffic to force traffic to the cell 4.
    If still any traffic check/reset/change TRX carrying BCCH.

    hi jason
    1-check the BCCH of the cell if it’s in the BA1 and BA2 list
    2-check the layer of the cell my be it has not the same layer like the others
    3-check CBA parameter
    4-finally make drive test in the related area

    Please also check the hardware – combiners, BTS cable connections etc. Because even thought the parameters are not optimized, there should be some traffic. Zero traffic means it doesn;t take ant at all. Also verify through Drive test.

    try to reset the Cell 4th level, I think this will solve your problem.
