Hi,
Has anyone come across a scaleable complex voice network modelling system?
We have one which caters for 20,000 switches meshed with 43000 trunks, and 2 million CDRs per day.
We are trying to improve performance times for computation of the GoS. It translates Ericson AXE10 and system X switches currently.
Very sorry for the late answer. Your Network at that time probably was a combination of analog and digital switches that used SS7 (circuit and non-circuit) signalling to setup telephony calls.
Your Network is no doubt using IP / Sigtran / MPLS(-TP). This will help with Traffic Engineering and your Grade of Service (GOS).
