delay in HO attempt

    hi all
    if we have delay on ho attempt is it because of power control ,because the neighbour cell level is around -60 dbm,serving is around -85 with 1 quality,but the hand over attempt dosnot happen?

    what is the vendor and what is the quality and level thresholds settings for the power control?

    Hi GMN.
    Power budget HO doesn’t takes place when PC conditions are meeting.Try to set different triggering points for power budget Ho & PC and this wont happen.

    this is what we have actually, and yes with the levels and quality in your case it is expected when you have power control

    Hi Firas,
    Do you mean to say, that if the level/ quality are within the power control window, there will be no power budget HO attempt. pls reply because even in our network HO attempt gets delay even if the difference between serving & best nbr is more than 15db.
